Report: Patriots-Steelers At Gillette Stadium To Open 2015 NFL Season

One piece of the New England Patriots’ 2015 schedule puzzle reportedly is set.

The Patriots will open the 2015 NFL season at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers , a source told the Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe. ESPN’s Adam Schefter also tweeted “sure sounds like Steelers at Patriots in Thursday night regular-season opener.” The date of the season opener will be Sept. 10.

The full 2015 NFL schedule will be announced Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN and NFL Network.

The Patriots will play the Steelers, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, Buffalo Bills, Jacksonville Jaguars, Tennessee Titans, Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Redskins at home, and the Jets, Dolphins, Bills, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants on the road in 2015.
