Tom Brady might have picked the home of the New England Patriots over the home of the President of the United States.

The Patriots quarterback skipped out on the Super Bowl champions’ White House visit Thursday, reportedly because of a prior family commitment, leading many to wonder where in the world Brady could have been while his teammates were being honored by President Barack Obama.

Well, that mystery now might be solved.

According to’s Mike Reiss, Brady actually was at Gillette Stadium while Bill Belichick and Co. were busy not being amused by Obama’s DeflateGate joke.

“For what it’s worth, I’m told Brady was present at the stadium for a stretch of time Thursday while many in the organization were at the White House,” Reiss wrote, via

Brady was spotted checking out an Apple watch at an Apple store in New York the very next day before spending some time with the family in the Big Apple on Sunday.

We might never know for sure where Brady was last week, but we certainly can hope he was rocking those TB12 sneakers if he indeed was at Gillette.
