Tiger Woods Says He Dislocated Bone In Wrist, Popped It In At Masters (Video)

Tiger Woods has struggled with injuries on the course of late, but the one he suffered Sunday apparently was no big deal.

The 14-time major winner appeared to hurt himself pretty badly when he hit a root in the pine straw on the ninth hole during the final round of the Masters. Woods immediately winced in pain upon taking the shot.

Woods told CBS Sports after the tournament, which he finished in a 17th-place tie with Sergio Garcia at 5-under par, that he dislocated a bone in his wrist.

“A bone kinda popped out, joint went out of place, but I put it back in,” Woods said.

CBS also pointed out that no replays showed Woods tending to his own wrist, but if it’s true, it’s pretty impressive that Woods went on to finish the round and managed to end the day at 1-over par.

Still, even if Woods wasn’t feeling any pain Sunday, it would have been hard to catch winner Jordan Spieth, who finished the Masters at an incredible 18-under.
