Haverhill, Mass., native Noah Vonleh is making sure he takes care of his family now that he’s an NBA star.

Vonleh, the No. 9 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, started his career at nearby Haverhill High School in 2008-09 before transferring to New Hampton Prep. He played one season for the Indiana Hoosiers and was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year before declaring for the draft and being selected in the lottery.

The 6-foot-10 power forward surprised his mother with a brand new Mercedes Benz for Mother’s Day. He posted her reactions and a sweet message to Instagram on Sunday.

Needless to say, she was very excited.

Vonleh wasn’t the only professional athlete to do something nice for his mother. New England Patriots Tom Brady, Julian Edelman and Rob Gronkowski all wished their moms a Happy Mother’s Day.
