If there’s one thing to know about J.J. Watt, it’s that he lives his life at full speed.
After all, this is a guy who can do 61-inch box jumps and seems to enjoy playing with blood streaming down his face. So it shouldn’t surprise anyone that the Houston Texans defensive end’s contribution to “Throwback Thursday” might a little intense.
That said, the following photo Watt posted Wednesday night surprised the pants off of us. (Warning: It’s pretty graphic).

And you thought it hurt that one time you banged your leg on the coffee table.
Judging by Watt’s tweet, it appears he got the nasty bruise during last season’s Week 4 contest against the Buffalo Bills. That must have really slowed him down, right?

Yup. This is the same game in which Watt intercepted a Ryan Fitzpatrick pass and returned it 80 yards for a touchdown — in the third quarter, after he had suffered that bruise.
So not only is Watt the best defensive player in the game, it appears he’s also immune to all forms of pain. Good luck dealing with that, NFL.
