Rob Gronkowski’s latest Tom Brady take is a little deeper than a simple flex of the muscles.
The New England Patriots tight end answered questions from reporters last week following the release of the Wells Report with just a flex as he walked out of a charity function. On Wednesday, Gronkowski was at ESPN promoting the “Madden” cover vote, and he weighed in when asked about Brady’s suspension.
“Tom’s a professional on and off the field,” Gronkowski said during a “SportsCenter” appearance. “He’s the leader of our team. He’s an unbelievable player. He has full support from myself and definitely in the organization as you can see with the statements Bob Kraft has been putting out there and everything.”
Gronkowski looked borderline uncomfortable answering questions about Brady and DeflateGate, and emphasized he’s really just focused on being ready for the upcoming season.
