Phillies’ Freddy Galvis Lays Down Incredibly Perfect Drag Bunt (Videos)

Sometimes we get carried away with hyperbole when discussing sports highlights.

But seriously. Freddy Galvis dropped the most perfect bunt ever Monday night.

The Philadelphia Phillies shortstop came to bat in the fourth inning against the New York Yankees with runners on first and second and nobody out. He then tried to bunt for a hit, with amazingly successful results.

Let’s take a closer look, shall we?

Galvis clearly made some sacrifice to the baseball gods beforehand, as that’s the only explanation for the ball coming to a stop literally millimeters from the foul line.

His bunt also was quite useful, as the Phillies went on to score four runs in the inning and hold on for an 11-8 win.
