Tiger Woods has been focusing on his swing mechanics in preparation for this week’s U.S. Open. He might also be taking another swing at love with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren.
The 14-time major winner reached out to Nordegren, who recently broke up with billionaire boyfriend Chris Cline, and is looking to fix the mess his cheating scandal created while they were married, a source told TerezOwens.com. Woods put his heart on the line, according to the website, and suggested they get back together, as he reportedly also did in 2013.
Woods is single, too, after his May breakup with Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn. They spent nearly three years together, but cheating rumors surfaced shortly after the split.
The former model publicly has taken shots at Woods in the past, but even through all the drama, they’re able to see each other without issue. Nordegren has said Woods is great with their two children and their relationship is “really good.”
Woods hasn’t won a major since 2008, so maybe rekindling the romance with his ex-wife could spark future success.
