Russell Westbrook will be gracing the cover of “NBA Live 16.”
EA Sports announced Tuesday that the Oklahoma City Thunder star will be its next cover boy, and the company also debuted a trailer for the video game. There’s no release date yet, but the trailer does say it’ll be sometime this fall.
Westbrook enjoyed a pretty impressive 2014-15 season and at one point even was considered by many as an MVP candidate. The point guard led the league by far with 11 triple-doubles and brought the Thunder to the brink of a playoff berth despite missing 14 games with a fractured right hand and being without All-Star Kevin Durant for most of the season.
