Whether you love Tom Brady or hate him, chances are you have an opinion on the New England Patriots quarterback’s four-game suspension for his alleged involvement in Deflategate.
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell will give his final opinion on the suspension after he hears Brady’s appeal Tuesday, but the ruling won’t quiet down all of the hot takes. While many Brady opponents believed the punishment was too light, others were skeptical the Wells Report’s vague language that it was “more probable than not” the signal-caller was involved in deflating footballs during the 2014 AFC Championship Game wasn’t enough to suspend him for so many games.
