After bailing on the Dallas Mavericks earlier this week to re-sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, Jordan on Friday offered an apology to the Mavs and their owner, Mark Cuban.

The center’s apology came hours after Cuban detailed via his app, CyberDust, how Jordan avoided him Wednesday before signing his new contract with the Clippers.

Clippers coach Doc Rivers said Thursday he didn’t believe it was Jordan’s responsibility to inform Cuban of his decision, but Jordan evidently realized his handling of the whole situation was far from professional.
