The Kansas City Royals grounds crew has a lot of work to do.
Amid severe thunderstorms and a tornado warning that produced the beginnings of at least one funnel cloud, incredible amounts of rain hit Kansas City’s Kauffman Stadium on Monday.
Royals All-Star catcher Salvador Perez posted a video to Instagram showing water rushing down the dugout steps into the hallway that leads to the Royals’ clubhouse.

Grounds crew members (with and without shoes) worked feverishly to clear the dugouts of water.
