Evan Turner turned heads at Saturday’s inaugural NBA Africa game.
The Boston Celtics forward played alongside elite NBA players as Team World rallied to defeat Team Africa 101-97 in Johannesburg. Celtics teammate Marcus Smart and coach Brad Stevens also were members of the World squad, but Turner stole the show.

The most impressive play was his sweet behind-the-back pass to Washington Wizards shooting guard Bradley Beal.
Milwaukee Bucks guard Giannis Antetokounmpo never had a chance. Good thing Dikembe Mutombo wasn’t guarding Turner. No, no, no, not today.
Turner finished that game with 14 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. Celtics fans are hoping for more of the same from the former No. 2 overall draft pick this upcoming NBA season.
