Max Talbot Goes Undercover To Learn How Canadiens Fans Feel About Bruins, Him

Boston Bruins forward Max Talbot recently hit the streets of Montreal in his native Quebec to find out how Canadiens fans feel about the B’s.

The results were as expected.

Some takeaways:

— Unsurprisingly, pretty much everyone hated the Bruins, including this guy in a Celtics jersey:

Mr. C’s Fan said he’d be “a traitor” if he supported the Black and Gold.

— The Bruins have two Quebecers on their roster: Patrice Bergeron and Talbot. Most interviewees were able to name Bergeron (if they couldn’t, we’d seriously question their status as hockey fans), but Talbot was not so lucky.

What do you think?  Leave a comment.

We won’t be too hard on Habs fan for that one, though. Talbot has played just 18 games for Boston, after all.

— Despite not knowing which team he plays for, folks in Montreal apparently aren’t big Max Talbot fans. The veteran center was called “old,” “dirty” and “a disgrace to his city.” Ouch.

— The fans quickly changed their tune upon learning that Talbot was, in fact, Talbot. The guy who called him a disgrace even asked for a picture. Talbot obliged.
