NESN, New England’s most watched sports network, announced Monday that Lisa Hillary (@LisaHillaryTV) will join NESN as an anchor/reporter for NESN’s sports news programs. The sports television veteran will join Adam Pellerin (@AdamPellerin) to form the network’s lead anchor team for “NESN Sports Today,” a live sportscast that airs every night at 10 p.m. or immediately following Red Sox or Bruins post-game coverage. She will also fill in as a reporter and appear on NESN’s other sports news programs, including “NESN LIVE,” (5:30 p.m. weeknights), and “NESN Sports Update” (mornings 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.).
Hillary comes to NESN with 15 years of experience as a sports television anchor and reporter at several networks, including Comcast SportsNet Mid Atlantic (2006-2010) and Comcast SportsNet Philadelphia (2010-2013) where she was a two-time Emmy winner. She also served as the Anaheim Ducks sideline reporter for FOX Sports West during the 2013-14 NHL season. Earlier in her career she anchored sports reports on TSN SportsCentre (Canada’s equivalent to ESPN) and served as a news anchor/general assignment reporter in Ottawa. Hillary got her start in the sports industry as the assistant media relations director for the Ottawa Senators.
“Lisa is a skilled studio host and reporter with a wealth of sports knowledge and industry experience who makes a great addition to our talented team of anchors and reporters,” said Joseph Maar, NESN’s Vice President of Programming and Production/Executive Producer.
“With her energetic personality and passion for sports, Lisa will bring viewers in-depth and compelling coverage of New England’s teams,” Maar added.
Lisa is an avid tennis player and golfer; she will begin working on-air at the end of August.
