Scott Chandler’s touchdown catch with less than a minute left in the first half of the New England Patriots’ preseason game against the Carolina Panthers on Friday night was a welcome sign for fans.
You practically could hear the exhale from New England when quarterback Tom Brady completed his first touchdown pass of the preseason after a tumultuous offseason. But there were plenty of cheers mixed in, with the biggest coming from Chandler’s family.
The tight end’s wife, Alissa, shared a video on Twitter of their three daughters reacting to his big touchdown.
Brady to Chandler…touchdown! The little Chandler's are pretty pumped. #tearsofjoy pic.twitter.com/tGH9G8r0XO

Chandler, who signed with New England in March after being released by the Buffalo Bills, was one of the stars for the Patriots in their 17-16 win over the Panthers.
