Week 1 of college football isn’t over, and we might have seen the best play of the year already.
BYU was down one point against Nebraska during the final seconds of their matchup Saturday, and the Cougars and had the ball on the 42-yard line with time to run one more play. That meant it was Hail Mary time, and this turned out to be one of those rare occasions when the last-second play worked.
BYU’s Mitch Mathews caught the long pass from backup quarterback Tanner Mangum as time expired to upset the Cornhuskers on the road.

Greg Wrubell, who calls the games for the Cougars on the radio, had an epic call of the play.

Nothing better than that.
