Keegan Bradley Shows Support For Tom Brady, Patriots At TPC Boston

It’s been a crazy week for Vermont native Keegan Bradley.

First, the golfer proposed to his girlfriend, Jillian Stacey, and celebrated at a Boston Red Sox game. Then the New England Patriots fan got some more good news Thursday when Tom Brady’s four-game suspension was nullified. The PGA Tour schedule helped Bradley out, as he celebrated those two events in New England with the FedEx Cup playoffs in Norton, Mass., for the Deutsche Bank Championship.

“I’m so pumped, so happy for him,” Bradley said of Tom Brady on Thursday, via WEEI.com’s Ryan Hannable. “I’m glad that he pursued this and it’s not only good for him, but good for New England as well.”

Bradley didn’t get off to the best of starts at TPC Boston, thanks to an even-par 71. He is six strokes — or a touchdown, if you will — behind first-round leader Brendon de Jonge, which had him talking more about his favorite football team after his round.

This is the same guy who made sure to get to Super Bowl XLIX even though he was playing in the final round of the Waste Management Phoenix Open the same day. He saw a big Patriots’ comeback in that one. Maybe the same will happen for the former PGA Championship winner this weekend.
