Packers Backup QB On Aaron Rodgers: ‘Like Watching (Michael) Jordan’

Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. There’s no denying that. But just how good is he?

Well, if you ask Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Scott Tolzien, Rodgers is playing like another all-time sports great you’ve probably heard of.

“I mean, to me, it’s like watching (Michael) Jordan in his prime,” Tolzien said, via ESPN Wisconsin. “He’s at the top of his game. He makes it all go.”

Tolzien’s comment came after Rodgers’ performance against the Kansas City Chiefs on “Monday Night Football.” Rodgers completed 24 of 35 passes for 333 yards with five touchdowns and zero interceptions in Green Bay’s 38-28 win. He’s now completed 73.6 percent of his passes and owns a 135.4 passer rating through three games.

Of course, New England Patriots fans might argue a different No. 12 is the best quarterback in the league. Tom Brady has thrown for more yards than any other quarterback this season, and it’s not even close.

But one can’t deny how talented Rodgers is. You have to be in order to be compared to one of the greatest athletes of all time.
