Patriots Practice Report: Ryan Wendell Absent; Jon Bostic Wears No. 58
FOXBORO, Mass. — The New England Patriots had near-perfect attendance at their lone practice of the bye week.
Offensive lineman Ryan Wendell remained out of practice, however. The veteran prospective starter missed practice last Wednesday, Thursday and Friday with an illness. He was limited in practice on Wednesday and Thursday of the previous week and was held out that Friday.
The Patriots practiced in the Empower Field House due to the rainy conditions and their upcoming games indoors against the Indianapolis Colts (Week 5) and Dallas Cowboys (Week 6). They wore shells and shorts.
New Patriots linebacker Jon Bostic participated, wearing No. 58. Practice squad linebacker Darius Fleming switched from No. 58 to No. 48.
