The Toronto Blue Jays won their first American League East title since 1993 on Wednesday, and boy did they make up for lost time when it came to the celebration.
The Blue Jays steamrolled the Baltimore Orioles 15-2 in Game 1 of a doubleheader in Baltimore, which may or may not have let them start the celebration just a little bit early. Once the final out was recorded in Game 2, things got real weird in the Blue Jays clubhouse.
The Jays partied hard — real hard — in celebration of the division title, and perhaps no one went harder than lovable utility infielder Munenori Kawasaki. The Japanese infielder has an outgoing personality as it is, but when you mix in some booze, he apparently becomes the true life of the party.
So much so, in fact, that Kawasaki openly admitted in a TV interview that, yes, he was drunk.

Josh Donaldson, who comes across as the type of bro who likes a frosty beverage or 10 now and then, validated that feeling, too.

Donaldson also found himself in the middle of a champagne shower.
And then, well, there was this.
Oh, and by the way, the Blue Jays and Orioles are back at it Thursday at 12:05 p.m. ET, assuming the Jays ever stop drinking. We’re guessing the Orioles might be a safe bet for that one.
