Derek Jeter debunked everyone’s favorite Derek Jeter rumor.
Back in 2011, the New York Post alleged the former Yankees shortstop used to send his one-night stands off with a gift basket full of signed memorabilia. But on Joe Buck’s new show “Undeniable,” which premiered Wednesday on DirecTV’s Audience Network, Jeter denied the rumors.
“It’s a dumb story,” Jeter said. “And you really have to be dumber to believe it, but they believe it. But, really, you come up with this stuff, and then it follows you around like it’s factual.”
Jeter went on to say he doesn’t normally address rumors because once you address one, you have to address them all. Still, there are some more (NSFW) rumors that we’d much rather Jeter address than this one.
