FOXBORO, Mass. — Tom Brady took quite a few hits against the Buffalo Bills on Monday night, and his wife apparently isn’t a big fan of watching that.
The New England Patriots quarterback was asked Wednesday how thankful he was to still be playing in his 16th NFL season — in big games, no less — and whether his wife, Gisele Bundchen, questions why he still plays the game at his age.
“She says that to me all the time, definitely,” Brady said. “She said that to me (Tuesday)Â night as a matter of fact.”
Brady continued his answer talking about all of the high school games that will be happening this week for aspiring future NFL players.
“It’s a great time here in Massachusetts for football, and we’ve hosted a lot of those games (at Gillette Stadium), state championships and so forth,” Brady said. “There are a lot of state championships this week. I got an email from (former Patriots quarterback) Drew Bledsoe. His sons plays in the (Oregon) state championship this week, which is pretty cool. Thanksgiving is always about football and being with your family, and it makes for a great holiday.”
