The New England Patriots reportedly finally caught a break on the injury front Tuesday.

Wide receiver Danny Amendola suffered a sprained knee Monday night against the Buffalo Bills but isn’t expected to miss extended time, CSNNE.com’s Tom E. Curran reported Tuesday. Amendola’s status for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos will be determined in practice this week, Curran reported.

Patriots wide receiver Aaron Dobson, who hurt his ankle Monday night, is expected to miss at least Sunday’s game, Curran also reported. An X-ray on Dobson’s ankle came back negative, showing no broken bones, the Boston Herald’s Jeff Howe reported Sunday.

The Patriots were left with just two healthy wide receivers Monday night after Amendola and Dobson went down. Wideout Keshawn Martin was declared inactive with a hamstring injury before Monday’s game.
