Bill Simmons Has Crazy Packers Story About One Direction’s Harry Styles (Audio)

Leave it to Bill Simmons to have a wild One Direction story.

The HBO media mogul recently recounted on “The Bill Simmons Podcast” that he ran into band member Harry Styles while at dinner following the GQ Man of the Year party. The event took place the same night as the Green Bay Packers’ miracle Hail Mary touchdown pass win over the Detroit Lions on “Thursday Night Football.”

In short, Simmons discovered Styles was a Green Bay fan when the singer began celebrating in the sushi restaurant, even lifting up his shirt to show off a Packers tattoo on his arm.

Styles and his band mates joined “The Late Late Show” host James Corden on Tuesday night for his trademark “Carpool Karaoke” segment. We’d like to imagine Styles’ celebration looked something like the dance Corden choreographed for 1D on their drive.
