Brad Marchand, Roman Josi Rumble During Bruins-Predators Game (Video)
BOSTON — Brad Marchand is known for mixing it up on the ice, but his agitating rarely escalates into fisticuffs.
It did Monday night, however, when the Boston Bruins winger dropped the gloves with Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi after a pileup behind the Nashville goal line.
The fight was just the seventh of Marchand’s NHL career, according to HockeyFights.com, and the first for Josi. And really, it was more of a wrestling match than anything.
Marchand’s bout ended up being the precursor for the main event, as Bruins bruiser Tyler Randell laid the smackdown on Nashville’s Eric Nystrom just two minutes later.
