Everyone chooses colleges for different reasons, but Rob Gronkowski’s reasoning for going to the University of Arizona easily was the most Gronk thing ever.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, the New England Patriots tight end’s father, Gordie, talked about raising five boys who all received athletic scholarships. The best tidbit came when talking about Gronk.
“With each of my sons, when they got to the campus that was right for them, they knew right away,” Gordie told Vanity Fair. “Rob had something like 65 scholarship offers, and I asked, ‘Where are you going? Syracuse? Ohio State?’ He goes, ‘University of Arizona.’ I asked, ‘Why there?’ ‘Dad, if you ever went to a pool party at Arizona, you’d understand.'”
Yeah, that sounds about right.
