South Florida will face Western Kentucky in the Miami Beach Bowl at the home of the Miami Marlins. And it should be an offensive showdown.
The Hilltoppers have the No. 4 scoring offense in the country, but the Bulls have taken it up a notch in recent weeks, averaging 51 points in their last three games. Western Kentucky is the favorite to win but just by three points.
The matchup also pits USF coach Willie Taggart against his former team, as he was the Hilltoppers’ head coach from 2010 to 2012 before departing for the Sunshine State.
