Aaron Ramsey Goal Curse Returns To Kill Celebrities, Internet People Say

If you’re a celebrity and never heard of the Aaron Ramsey curse, you need to be paying attention to this.

Ramsey, a midfielder for Arsenal in the Premier League, is responsible for the deaths of various world figures and celebrities — at least according to people on the Internet who want to make him a, um, murderer.

It’s not nearly as bad as it sounds, of course. It’s just that Ramsey has a way of going on goal-scoring binges that just happen to coincide with the deaths of prominent figures. For instance, he scored a goal Saturday. Two days later, legendary musician David Bowie died. He then scored another goal Wednesday. A day after that, actor Alan Rickman died.

Not that weird, right? Maybe not, at least not until you consider this is far from the first time this has happened. In the past, Ramsey goals have coincided with the deaths of people like Osama bin Laden, Steve Jobs, Paul Walker and Robin Williams. It’s pretty staggering.

Just don’t break this up with Ramsey; he’s not amused.

“The most ridiculous rumor I’ve heard is that people die after I score,” Ramsey’s quoted as saying, according to SportsKeeda.com. “There have been loads of occasions where I’ve scored and somebody hasn’t died. That’s just a crazy rumor. I didn’t really find it funny.”

Fair enough. Still, though, makes you think.
