Donald Trump doesn’t mind kicking his rivals when they’re down.
Trump on Monday trolled New York Jets owner Woody Johnson — one day after the Buffalo Bills dashed the Jets’ playoff hopes by inflicting a dramatic, season-ending defeat on them.
In another time, Trump might have ignored such a loss. But this is an election year, and Johnson also is working for Jeb Bush, who is running against Trump to become president of the United States.
Woody Johnson, owner of the NYJets, is @JebBush’s finance chairman. If Woody would’ve been w/me, he would’ve been in the playoffs, at least!

Whether Trump’s issue with Johnson is about business or something personal matters little. Timing is everything in comedy and gloating, and the Jets haven’t made the playoffs since 2010. Why wait to point that out?
