Red Wings’ Dylan Larkin Breaks NHL All-Star Fastest Skater Record (Video)
Dylan Larkin is really fast.
The Detroit Red Wings rookie competed in the NHL All-Star Skills Competition on Saturday night in Nashville, Tenn., where he broke a 20-year record with one lap around the Bridgestone Arena ice.
Larkin skated in 13.172 seconds, more than enough to beat Mike Gartner’s record of 13.386, set in 1996.

Larkin has 15 goals, 18 assists and a new record in his stellar rookie season. Not bad.
