For a moment Friday night, Chicago Bulls fans saw their team’s season flash before their eyes.
Bulls star Jimmy Butler aggressively went up for a shot with just over a minute remaining in the first half of Chicago’s game against the Denver Nuggets, and he suffered a scary-looking knee injury on his way down.

Somehow, Butler actually stayed in the game to shoot his free throws. Then he went back to the wheelchair and was carted off the court.

The Bulls announced Butler suffered a left knee sprain, and CSN Chicago’s Vincent Goodwill tweeted that the Bulls star was smiling after having X-rays.
