A report Monday said the NFL was looking into Rob Gronkowski’s recent party cruise for any possible violations, but the league since has told multiple reporters that the New England Patriots tight end is in the clear.
A league attorney told CBS Dallas’ Brian New the NFL was investigating the cruise for potential gambling violations, similar to what Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo experienced in the summer. But a league source told The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin something entirely different, which was supported by CNN’s Jill Martin’s reporting.
