A new baseball season finally is here.
The 2016 MLB season kicks off Sunday with three exciting matchups, highlighted by a 2015 World Series rematch between the New York Mets and defending champion Kansas City Royals at night.
With the start of every new campaign comes time to make awards predictions.
This year’s predictions are particularly difficult. Each of the major awards has at least four or five legitimate contenders, and then there’s always a few players who come out of nowhere and mount a compelling case by September.
