LeBron James seems to have taken on a new title: coach.
The Cleveland Cavaliers star sat against the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night but he didn’t seem to do much actual sitting. James, who was just resting for a night, was doing his best coaching impression from the sidelines and at one point was shouting over actual Cavs head coach Tyronn Lue.
James also worked on some fundamentals with the guys during a timeout.
It was a running joke that James was actually coaching the Cavs before David Blatt was fired in January, so this probably won’t help change that narrative much. Not to mention, it wasn’t great for the Cavs in the end, as the Rockets outscored them 35-16 in the fourth quarter en route to a 106-100 win.
