9:56 a.m.: We already saw one big move involving a running back Monday, and we could see more Tuesday.
The second day of the NFL’s legal tampering period is upon us, and the free-agent running back class still is deep after a slow Day 1. Outside of the Philadelphia Eagles trading DeMarco Murray to the Tennessee Titans, none of the big-name backs — think Doug Martin, Lamar Miller, Chris Ivory, Matt Forte and Arian Foster — have committed to teams before they officially can sign Wednesday at 4 p.m. ET.
And NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport believes that could be Tuesday’s focus.
Today may be about RBs, with markets heating up for Doug Martin, Chris Ivory & Lamar Miller (who #Texans & others have strong interest in)
