Joe Kelly will take the mound Wednesday afternoon as the Boston Red Sox visit the Pittsburgh Pirates for game No. 8 of their Grapefruit League schedule.

It will be the second start of the spring for Kelly, who enjoyed a late-season resurgence last summer before being shut down in mid-September. The right-hander started last Friday’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays, allowing two hits, walking one and striking out one over two scoreless innings.
