Bill Belichick Calls Tom Brady The GOAT In Rare Speaking Engagement

If there’s still any debate over who is the greatest quarterback in the history of the NFL, New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick might have just settled it.

Belichick, in a rare speaking engagement at the 2016 Salesforce World Tour event on Thursday in Boston, called Tom Brady “the greatest quarterback of all time.”

“He’s been a tremendous leader, tremendous player for our organization,” Belichick continued.

Belichick has coached Brady to four Super Bowl titles and six conference championships in their 16 years together with the Patriots. Brady has played in 31 playoff games, which is an NFL record.

Belichick also was asked at the event if it’s time to change the name of the Lombardi Trophy to the “Belichick Trophy.”

“I don’t know about that,” he said in typical Belichick fashion. “I just want to be holding it again.”
