Craig Sager’s Crazy Suits Inspire Colorful Support From NBA Reporters

The NBA community continues to show support for Craig Sager, even adding in a little extra flair.

Several players and coaches (past and present) have shared moving moments with Sager since the popular NBA sideline reporter announced last month that his leukemia no longer is in remission. A whole bunch of NBA sideline reporters joined in Tuesday night, wearing colorful outfits that were inspired by Sager’s own stylish wardrobe.

Sager, of course, has worn countless crazy suits over the years, often making him the butt of jokes on the court, on social media and in living rooms across the globe. The verbal jabs always have been in good-natured fun, though, and it’s cool to see everyone showing Sager so much love amid his big fight.

NBA reporters even used the hashtag #SidelineForSager on Tuesday while dressing to the nines. Let’s hope this trend continues moving forward. We all could learn from Sager’s panache.
