David Ortiz Back In Lineup As Red Sox Take On Braves At Fenway Park

BOSTON — Big Papi gets to go up against the Braves now that the Red Sox’s home-and-home series with Atlanta has moved to Fenway Park.

David Ortiz sat out the Red Sox’s first two interleague games against the Braves while there was no need for a designated hitter at Turner Field, but he’s back in the lineup in his usual cleanup spot Wednesday. Ryan Hanigan also is in the lineup and batting eighth to catch for knuckleballer Steven Wright.

Wright has a chance to get his record to .500 despite the fact he’s been Boston’s most consistent starter through the first 20 games of the Red Sox’s season. The right-hander has given up just three runs through three starts, but Wright took the loss in each of his first two outings after the team failed to give him run support.

Here are the Red Sox’s and Braves’ lineups for Wednesday.
