Ex-Patriot Brandon Browner Agrees To Terms On Return To Seahawks

The Legion of Boom will reunite in 2016.

Cornerback Brandon Browner has agreed to terms on a contract with the Seattle Seahawks, the team announced Sunday. Browner played for the Seahawks from 2011 to 2013 after spending four seasons in the CFL. Browner, fellow cornerback Richard Sherman and safeties Earl Thomas and Kam Chancellor made up the Legion of Boom. Sherman, Thomas and Chancellor remain with the Seahawks.

Browner, 31, beat the Seahawks in Super Bowl XLIX as a member of the New England Patriots in 2014. He played for the New Orleans Saints in 2015. He led the NFL in total penalties in each of his past two seasons.
