Patriots Sign Justin Coleman, Brandon King As Exclusive Rights Free Agents

Two of the New England Patriots’ best undrafted free-agent finds of 2015 officially are sticking around for another year.

Cornerback Justin Coleman and special-teams ace Brandon King signed their exclusive rights free agent tenders Tuesday, the Patriots announced.

Coleman, a Tennessee product, recorded 21 tackles and five passes defensed in 10 games as the Patriots’ slot cornerback in 2015. The 5-foot-11, 185-pound cornerback started two games as a rookie.

King, who’s listed as a defensive back but practiced with linebackers, recorded 12 special teams tackles for the Patriots in 2015, only trailing captain Matthew Slater. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound special-teamer played in 13 games after being signed off the practice squad in October.
