Boston Red Sox fans will have to wait to watch their team play on Opening Day.

The club announced Monday that its first game against the Indians in Cleveland had been postponed until Tuesday at 1:10 p.m. ET. It was 31 degrees in Cleveland shortly before game time, but there was no apparent precipitation in the forecast.

The Red Sox weren’t the only team in the American League East to have their Opening Day festivities postponed, either. The New York Yankees had to move their game against the Houston Astros to Tuesday, too.
