BOSTON — Joe Kelly will be on the mound for the Red Sox on Wednesday night, which means Ryan Hanigan will be behind the plate.

The Boston backstop is Kelly’s personal catcher this season, so Blake Swihart will get the night off for the series finale against the Baltimore Orioles. Hanigan will slide right into Swihart’s No. 8 spot in the Red Sox’s batting order.

As for Kelly, he’ll be looking for a better outing than his first one. The Toronto Blue Jays tagged the Red Sox right-hander for six runs in the fourth inning on April 8 after Kelly gave up four consecutive singles, a hit by pitch and a Josh Donaldson grand slam, all with no outs. Kelly ended that game with seven earned runs on seven hits with three walks and four strikeouts over three innings.

Here are the Red Sox’s and Orioles’ lineups for Wednesday’s 7:10 p.m. matchup.
