The New England Patriots have each other’s backs from the gridiron to the dance floor.
Tom Brady offered his support to Doug Flutie, as the former Boston College legend and Patriots quarterback strives to win on this season’s “Dancing With The Stars” contest on ABC. Brady used Facebook on Wednesday to wish Flutie luck in his upcoming performance with partner Karina Smirnoff.
Season 3 of DWTS is just a few weeks old, but Flutie already has made an impact. He dedicated a waltz to his late parents, who died last November on the same day, less than one hour apart. The emotional performance drew tears from many in the audience and beyond.
Flutie is considered a long shot to win the competition this season, but he overcame greater odds than these time and time again during his playing career.
We haven’t received word on whether Brady plans to eat those Flutie Flakes with milk or pour Patriot pride over them.
