Kevin Faulk Relays Tom Brady’s Message To Him For Wearing Jersey At NFL Draft

It seems Tom Brady enjoyed Kevin Faulk’s show of support at the 2016 NFL Draft just as much as New England Patriots fans did.

In case you forgot, Faulk went to the podium last month in Chicago wearing a Brady jersey under his blazer. Faulk announced “the New England Patriots and Tom Brady select Joe Thuney.”

Brady called Faulk after the draft to talk about the show of support. Faulk relayed the quarterback’s message on The Sports Hub’s “Toucher & Rich” on Tuesday.

“Thank you for just showing the respect that we had for each other,” Brady said to Faulk.

“That was all it (was),” Faulk said. “It wasn’t (a) big, drawn-out deal, nothing like that. It was, ‘Thank you.’ ”

Brady’s four-game suspension for Deflategate had been reinstated before the 2016 draft. Brady filed a petition to have the suspension vacated this week.

Faulk will be inducted into the Patriots Hall of Fame on Aug. 1 at Gillette Stadium.
