People across the country attempted to celebrate Cinco De Mayo on Thursday, with varying results. But it looks like the Chicago Cubs got it right.

The Cubs, who entered Thursday with the best record in Major League Baseball, decided to bring a mariachi band into their fancy new clubhouse to help bring some Mexican holiday cheer ahead of their game against the Washington Nationals.

Most of the players seemed to enjoy the impromptu concert, although we can’t tell if outfielder Dexter Fowler is in that group.

Joe Maddon has been known to use some unorthodox managing tactics with his club, so we’re not too surprised by his latest stunt. Then again, Chicago is off to a 20-6 start and has an insane plus-93 run differential, so whatever he’s doing, it’s working.
