Joe Thuney and Kamu Grugier-Hill both appear one step closer to realizing their dreams of playing in the NFL.
The New England Patriots reportedly agreed to deals Thursday with Thuney and Grugier-Hill, who both were part of their 2016 NFL Draft class.
Thuney, a third-round pick, agreed to a contract for up to $3.538 million, according to the Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson. The North Carolina state offensive lineman reportedly will receive a $773,428 signing bonus. Grugier-Hill, a sixth-round pick, agreed to a four-year, $2.61 million deal with the Patriots, according to The Boston Globe’s Ben Volin. The Eastern Illinois linebacker/safety reportedly will receive a $100,356 signing bonus.
And now it’s on to the 2016 season for Thuney and Grugier-Hill.
