Stephen Curry Becomes First Unanimous Most Valuable Player In NBA History

Stephen Curry keeps making history.

The Golden State Warriors point guard earned his second straight NBA Most Valuable Player award Tuesday, and he became the first unanimous MVP in the league’s history with all 131 first-place votes.

San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard and Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James rounded out the top three, respectively.

Curry, the 11th back-to-back MVP in NBA history, certainly earned the unanimous nod. He broke his own record for made 3-pointers with an absurd 402 made attempts, and he averaged 30.1 points per game, all while leading the Warriors to a record 73 regular-season wins.
