Stephen Curry threw his mouthpiece. Steve Kerr called out the refs. Now, both have been fined.

The NBA on Friday docked Curry and Kerr $25,000 each for their actions during and after the Golden State Warriors’ 115-101 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Thursday in Game 6 of the NBA Finals.

Curry, the two-time defending NBA MVP, fouled out of Game 6, the first time he’d done so in a game since 2013. After his sixth foul, Curry lost his cool, throwing his mouthpiece into the stands and earning himself an ejection.

Kerr’s fine was the result of comments he made during his postgame news conference. The Warriors coach was highly critical of the officiating, saying three of Curry’s six foul calls were “absolutely ridiculous” and “incredibly inappropriate.”

The NBA champion will be crowned Sunday night in Game 7.
